I was born in Chesapeake, Virginia and have spent my whole life in Hampton Roads. I moved to Virginia Beach in 2021 and wanted to check out the local church in our neighborhood, which happened to be Coastal. My family was hooked from the first visit and we have been coming weekly ever since! I’ve had a relationship with God since I was a teenager, however different life experiences have shaped my relationship with Him. After becoming a mom and overcoming some health obstacles, I feel closer to Christ than ever and I recognize the blessings He has given me. I feel that God lead me to Coastal and that I am meant to serve in the coffee shop. The coffee shop is a great way to welcome those to our church each Sunday, and to provide a casual, family-like atmosphere. I look forward to meeting our guests weekly and to learn more about them. I also love that our proceeds go to our mission partners, and I am thrilled to play a role in that!
I have a wonderful husband named Michael, and we are very blessed with our incredible son, Evan. I am a huge animal lover (grew up with many cats and dogs!), and currently have two cats. I spend my free time practicing calligraphy, capturing photography, visiting local coffee spots, watching football, building Legos with my family, and preparing new recipes! Come see me in the coffee shop!
