I’m the oldest (and best!) of four kids and a pastors son. My family has always been involved in ministry since I was young and I came to know the Lord at a young age. I began playing music when I was nine years old and quickly learned multiple different instruments. Somehow I always felt that God was prodding me to be a musician and use my gifts for His glory, but I had become disenchanted with church in my late teens and was wrestling with my faith through my early twenties. God finally broke through to me with the help of my family and friends and made me realize I was running from my calling as a worship leader. A couple of years after I rededicated my life to Christ I felt the Lord calling me to Virginia and eventually to Coastal’s worship ministry.
When I’m not trying to shred on my guitar, I enjoy reading books on history and philosophy, playing video games and watching in depth YouTube videos on obscure subjects and events. I also am a huge prog rock/metal fan and enjoy discussing music theory, guitar tones and all sorts of other nerdy things about music. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories so don’t hesitate to chat if you see me around!
