I grew up going to Sunday school and knowing that God existed, but it was not until Easter of 2001 that a pastor helped me realize I could have a personal relationship with Christ. From that point on, I have regularly attended church, attended and led small groups with my husband, studied the Bible through women’s Bible studies, and grown more in awe of and in love with Christ. After moving to Virginia Beach, we found Coastal just before the Beach Baptism and it seemed like the perfect time, so my family was baptized here at Coastal.
I am a military spouse (retired) so I have had many opportunities to use my administrative gifts in different capacities. In the past, I have supported several attorneys as well as other types of offices. When we moved to Virginia Beach, I began volunteering in the Coastal church office, and when a need arose, I was available. I enjoy helping wherever there might be a vacancy to fill.
I've been married to Joe for 30+ years and mother to Scott (married to Jordan) and Samantha (married to Nick). I love reading, spending time with my family and enjoying good food.
